A new rumors has been posted online claiming the BlackBerry Thunder, RIM's first touch screen BlackBerry will be launching October 8th. In the United States Verizon will be the first to launch the device followed by Vodafone over in the UK.

Yeah, it looks great doesn't it? Presumably the touch screen glitches that we've heard about in the past have all been resolved - they need to be as the Thunder will obviously draw direct comparison with the iPhone and it would be a major embarrassment to RIM if it didn't perform well.

Can't wait for my supplier to get one in just to see what it's like in the flesh.

I would really like to get that phone. I am hoping that Alltel gets that phone in the next year. I have another year on my contract.
